Years ago it supported a number of businesses, but today that has now changed, and it is mainly a residential area. Parker retraces its history from the 1800s up to the twenty-first century. Attention is given to its economic and social aspects as well as to the floods that have inundated the village. It is very special that one of its residents chose to write a narrative about a place that is remembered by many people as home.
