Thanksgiving Closing
The Society will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on November 26, 27 and 28.
Fall Day Trip
On Saturday, October 24th, we will be taking a day trip to Montgomery House (Montour County Historical Society) in Danville and the Mooresburg School and Carriage House, followed by dinner at Perkins. Please watch our Upcoming Events for further details.
Fall Closings
The Society will be closed Saturday, September 5th for Labor Day. We will also be closed for Thanksgiving on November 26, 27 and 28.
Summer Closings
The Society will be closed for the summer holidays on Saturday, July 4th and Saturday, September 5th.
May Closings
The Society will be closed Saturday, May 23rd in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.
Annual Meeting
Our annual dinner and meeting will be held Saturday, May 2 at 6pm at the Ridge Street United Methodist Church in Almedia. Robert Thomas Hughes will present the story of “A Miner’s Tale,” the story of child workers in NEPA coal mines. Please check back soon…
April Closings
The Society will be closed on Friday, April 3rd and Saturday, April 4 for the Easter holiday. We will also be closed on Saturday, April 25 for the Renaissance Jamboree. Come see us at our stand on Main Street in front of Dollar General.

December Closings
The Society will be closed for the holidays, December 25 through January 5, reopening on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Remember to call first if the weather is questionable to make sure we are open during the winter months.
November Closings
The Society will be closed Tuesday, November 11th, for Veterans Day, and also closed November 27, 28 and 29 for Thanksgiving.
Fall Program

New Thursday Hours
